Monoprint created by thinning the ink and painting directly onto the plate. Once pressed the mirrored image appears almost like watercolor. I used chine colle for layering the characters on top, which read "Happy New Year" in Chinese, as 2022 was the Year of the Tiger.
Accepted into the Illinois Wesleyan University Juried Student Art Show in Spring 2022.
