Traditional Typography Layout

Practice using traditional typography and Oldstyle typeface by creating a title page and two page spread out of sonnets. Sabon is the typeface, and I took advantage of the matched triad for both title and spread pages. As a class we learned how to make a transparent page, and used a letterpress to help understand the anatomy of a typeface and various parts of the typographic process.
